August 1st - First Friday sponsored by Wanner Metal Worx and presented by Main Street Delaware and the Delaware City Police Theme = Annual Sidewalk Sale and National Night Out Against Crime featuring McGruff and more! No need to ask yourself what to do for fun on the first Friday of each month. Downtown Delaware is the place to be as the community enjoys free, family-friendly fun during Main Street Delaware’s First Friday events. All First Friday events feature extended shopping and gallery-hopping opportunities as many merchants stay open late to welcome visitors.
